| If you are… | Choose | Because |
|---|---|---|
| A first-time importer | DAP | You get a door-to-door price, and the duty is passed through at exactly what customs charges — nothing added. |
| Busy and want one number | DDP | A single landed figure including clearance, duty and taxes. No customs paperwork on your side at all. |
| Already have a freight contract | FCA / FOB | Move the goods on your own carrier account at your own negotiated rates. Our invoice carries no freight. |
| Testing the market | Express courier | Samples and small trial runs by air express, 3–7 days door to door, duty collected from you on delivery. |
We deliver to your door, duty passed through at cost
The default route. We arrange the freight, clear export, and hand the goods over at your address. Import duty and local tax are settled at exactly what the customs authority in your country charges — we add nothing to that figure, and you get the customs receipt with the delivery documents.
Included
- Export clearance and inland haulage in China
- Air or sea freight to your country
- Delivery to the address on the invoice
- Import duty and tax billed at cost, with the receipt
Your side
- You are the importer of record
- Duty and tax appear as a separate line
- Local unloading at your premises
One landed price, cleared all the way to you
We carry the customs clearance, the duty and the tax, and bill it as a single all-in figure. The advantage is administrative: no broker to appoint, no duty assessment to dispute, no paperwork at your end. The trade-off is that the duty is wrapped inside our price instead of shown separately — which also means you cannot reclaim import VAT against it.
Included
- Everything in DAP
- Customs clearance handled by us
- Import duty and taxes paid and absorbed
- One figure on one invoice
Watch out for
- Import VAT is not separately reclaimable
- Needs a little more lead time to arrange
- US orders are quoted as FOB + duty + clearance + per-piece door freight
Handed over to your forwarder inside China
For buyers who already run their own logistics. We truck the pallets to your nominated agent's warehouse or to the port, they take it from there, and no freight at all appears on our invoice. If you are shipping several suppliers on one container, this is the term that makes it work.
Included
- Export packing and palletising
- Inland transport to your nominated agent in China
- Export documentation for your forwarder
Your side
- You book and pay the freight
- You arrange insurance from the hand-over point
- You clear import
What that looks like on your lane
| Destination | Typical route and timing |
|---|---|
| Germany | Air freight to Frankfurt or via Amsterdam, 7–12 days door to door; sea to Hamburg or Rotterdam for bulk runs, add roughly 30–38 days. Import handled under EU rules, with input VAT recoverable on DAP terms. Commercial invoicing in EUR from a euro collection account. |
| Canada | Air to Toronto or Vancouver, 8–14 days; sea to Vancouver or Prince Rupert for volume. Duty is assessed under the Canadian tariff, GST/HST on top. Invoiced in CAD from a Canadian collection account. |
| United States | Sea to Los Angeles or New York for bulk, roughly 28–35 days; air for urgent replenishment. Duty and clearance are quoted as a separate line rather than bundled, so the number stays checkable. Invoiced in USD. |
| Anywhere else | We ship worldwide on request. Tell us the destination port or city and you get the same treatment: a calculated figure, not an estimate. |
The details that decide the final number
| Item | How it works |
|---|---|
| Cargo insurance | Optional, priced at 2 % of the declared cargo value, covering total loss or damage in transit. Decline it and the carrier's liability stops at the freight charge you paid — the value of the goods is not covered. We suggest taking it on sea shipments and on any first order. |
| How freight is calculated | By actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is greater, and by destination. Phone cases are dense and stack well, so a full carton usually pays on weight rather than volume. |
| Export cartons | Supplied in standard export cartons with a packing list per carton. Retail-ready shelf boxes are available on request, which changes the carton count and therefore the freight. |
| Sample shipments | Sent by international express, 3–7 days door to door. Duty and tax are collected from you by the courier on delivery, so nothing is prepaid at our end. |
| Documents per shipment | Commercial invoice, packing list, and the transport document for the agreed term. A certificate of origin is available on request for preferential or reduced-duty treatment. |
| Payment and shipping are separate | Clearing the deposit schedules production. Freight terms are agreed at quotation and do not change afterwards, unless you change the destination or the volume. |
